Euro.digital saves your personal data not longer than strictly necessary to realize the purposes the personal data was collected for. We handle the following time limit for storage for personal data we process in our secured environment:

Your personal data is saved until the end of the calendar year after the year in which you have stopped being part of the network or in which the membership of your organization is terminated. Example: if you terminate your membership on June 7th, 2019. We will delete your personal data on January 1st, 2021.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Besides you also have the right to withdraw your permission for processing your data, to object against the processing of your personal data by our organization and to apply for data portability. This means you can request us to send your personal data (that we have in our possession) through a computer file to you or somebody else, or to an organization of your choice.
