A large network of many national CIO/CDO associations in the EU.
Euro.digital is an umbrella association with national associations being members representing more than 1000 independent digital companies, located in more than 11 European countries. We are continually looking to expand our network across Europe as well as to increase our global relations and network.
In 2019 euro.digital will seek agreements on collaboration with national IT associations in 15 countries. We are about to enhance our relations with our partners in Singapore, Canada and other South East Asia countries.
Joining euro.digital as a national association and attending our international events personally may be an important step in becoming known by the movers in our industry. Being involved in euro.digital topics in addition to attending events can further raise your company profile as well as our common industry issues among local and European political leaders. This is mainly done via internal workgroups, web conferences, newsletters, network meetings, Interest Groups together with and for our national CIO communities.
As part of the strategy to deliver integrated services for euro.digital member associations and their companies we have a number of Interest Groups. These Interest Groups facilitate the identification of expert CIO’s in issues surrounding digital management, strategies, transformation, education etc. and promote knowledge management between the national associations and member companies. The Interest Groups regularly hold conference calls and most meet once a year on euro.digital partnered events.
Some Interest Groups formulate strategy plans to establish ambitions of euro.digital and communicate this to others. Action points within the strategy plans can be attributable to individuals within the group and so all members are encouraged to join one of the national associations of the euro.digital group..
Euro.digital is representing the digital industry towards European authorities, like the European Commission, European Parliament, etc. Euro.digital is a very active participant in several programmes of the European Commission. Besides the networking activities euro.digital can offer training and courses through the national bodies, which can be a major benefit to staying on top of developments in our industry.
